Framed Fine Art Print of Karakol Valley and beyond (June 2018)
Leaving the lush Karakol Valley for the cold and barren Ala Kul.
On the third day of my five-day hike in the Terskey Ala-Too mountain range in Kyrgyzstan, I left the comforts of a yurt in the middle of the Karakol Valley and headed up towards the frozen alpine lake Ala Kul. As I climbed, the forests thinned and soon did the shrubs. I traced the stream up the mountain. I turned back, and without the cover of the trees, I could see all the way back across Karakol Valley to the next valley and beyond. It was a long way since I began. Once an order for a framed print has been placed, we'll generally take about 2 weeks to deliver the prints via courier. Since each framed print is made to order, actual delivery times will depend on the availability of our printing and framing partner, and we will provide you with an update on the expected delivery time once we receive confirmation from our printing and framing partner.
