Looking back in the direction I came from on the start of my third day in the mountains.
The previous day, having spent most of it alone, cold and slightly disoriented at the snow covered Teleti Pass, I stumbled into Karakol Valley just before dusk. Physically and mentally drained, thankful to be able to see unfrozen grass again, glad to see humans again, and all too ready for a night in a yurt. Not the original wild camping plan but the break I needed from the elements. It was only in the next morning, emerging from the yurt in the bright morning sun, that I realized the splendor of the valley I had just spent the night in. More on the journey here.

This print comes in a range of size and framing options. Rough renderings have been provided for the framing options. Due to limitations in the renderings, please refer to the framed prints FAQ for more details on print formats, frame options and actual pictures of the frames.

Once an order for a framed print has been placed, we'll generally take about 2 weeks to deliver the prints via courier. Since each framed print is made to order, actual delivery times will depend on the availability of our printing and framing partner, and we will provide you with an update on the expected delivery time once we receive confirmation from our printing and framing partner.
