Framed Fine Art Print of the Terskey Alatau Mountains (June 2018)

The previous night, cold and a little disoriented, I was fortunate to have found 2 hospitable cowherds to spend the night with in the grass covered valleys of the Terskey Alatau Mountains.

I hadn’t realised how close I was to the snow capped peaks till I got back on to the trail the next morning, and with the clearing fog, caught a glimpse of the majestic mountains that felt close enough to touch. The cowherds were heading in the same direction, a little up the Teleti Pass to survey the land and their herd. On their horses, they swiftly disappeared towards the snowy mountains and I was alone again, wandering deeper into the wilderness, in awe of the soaring mountains, verdant valleys, and streams weaving between. More on the journey here.
